From the folks at Scripps National Spelling Bee today:
I am pleased to inform you that What is the Statue of Liberty? has been chosen as a 2018 Great Words, Great Works title by the Scripps National Spelling Bee. The purpose of this list is to highlight books that introduce students to rich and varied spelling and vocabulary words in context.
This brought back memories of my spelling bee loss in 6th grade. Who knew "necessary" did not include a double cc (not me). :o)
