Artemis the Brave She may be the goddess of the hunt, but that doesn’t mean Artemis always feels brave.
Athena the Wise
Zeus says Heracles has to do twelve tasks or he'll get kicked out of MOA! Although she's not sure it's wise, Athena agrees to help out.
Aphrodite the Diva Isis claims she's the goddess of love? Ha! But to keep the title all to herself, Aphrodite has to find the perfect match for Pygmalion, the most annoying boy ever.
Artemis the Loyal  It’s time for the annual Olympic Games, and Artemis and her friends are not happy. It’s boys only.  Not fair! (Dec.6, 2011)

Zero the Hero mask-making at Flyleaf Books (A NC Science Festival Event)

I'll be at Flyleaf Books doing a hero-mask-making craft and reading Zero the Hero 
Saturday at 3pm.

A  NC Science Festival Event: Zero the Hero! : A Picture Book Event with author Joan Holub  Recommended for ages 6-9.  zero the hero coverJoin North Carolina children's author Joan Holub who will be presenting her newest picture book, Zero the Hero. Zero believes that he is a hero, but the counting numbers think he is worthless until they get into trouble with some Roman numerals, and only Zero can help. This fun book will get young children thinking how fun numbers can be!  Joan Holub has authored and/or illustrated over 120 children's books.
